In 2022, the preaching roster for the Hebron English congregation will focus on the book of Exodus. This companion Bible study seeks to help Hebronites examine some of the issues in the texts to be preached as a preparation for receiving the sermons based on the designated texts each week.

Please use the English Standard Version (ESV) rendition of the English Bible for your study. Also please refer to to read the text of Exodus in a few other English renditions, such as the New International Version 2011 (NIV), New Living Translation (NLT), The Living Bible (TLB), New American Standard Bible (NASB), and even King James Version (KJV), and Young’s Literal Translation (YLT), to aid in your understanding.

You may do your study using the soft copy. If you prefer to use the hard copy, then you will need an exercise book for your answers.

Watchnight Service is a time for us to testify to God’s goodness and faithfulness to us in the year, especially this year where everything has changed.

This year we will go online so more of us can share safely. We will have two groups meeting via Zoom, a group for Brothers and one for Sisters.

There will be icebreakers; singing songs of praise; a message by Eld. Kok Seng; sharing; and small group prayer.

PARENTAL CONSENT (campers younger than 21y.o)

Youth camp is open to all youths aged 12 (P6) and up. However, due to Covid-19 restrictions, afternoon activities are only available to youths 14(sec 2) and below on a limited, case by case basis. This year camp will be run in a hybrid format, with multiple options, in-person worship in church, activities in small groups, and online zoom meetings.

The theme for the camp is the “Heart Of Worship”, join us and discover what worship means in a time where there’s no singing and in-person gatherings !

This is NOT a stayover camp (though we are exploring the possibilities of a sleepover at different homes.)

Carol Stories

As we anticipate the celebration of our Saviour’s first coming, come and join us in looking through the stories behind some of the most-loved Christmas carols we sing during this season. Ps Ian will narrate how the carols came into being and we can sing the songs along together.

This year has turned out to be an unexpectedly challenging time for this generation. The COVID-19 pandemic looks likely to spill over into 2021. The economic recession that has already happened will continue to deepen. The Hebron pastoral team is concerned about the welfare of the members and friends of the church. It has remained in touch and visited as many of them as possible over the past half-year. The Hebron Pastoral Care Check-Up is another initiative of the pastoral team to connect with Hebronites and enable Hebronites to update the team concerning their current situation. This will help the team in planning the execution of its pastoral care ministry. Please help us by filling out the survey so that we can serve you better.
